What is Language Arts?
Language Arts is a term used to describe all components of communication: written and spoken. Language Arts refers to the grammar rules such as nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc, as well as understanding writing techniques to improving students writing and speaking skills in stories, reports, and speeches.
What is Writer's Workshop?
Writer's Workshop is a model used to allow students to apply the grammar rules in their own creative writing. Students begin their writing, no matter what the genre, with a seed. Through guidance, students are able to nurture their seeds into well written stories, reports, etc.
How to Publish student work?
1. type all paragraphs
2. double space (right mouse click, select paragraphs, select double, and click ok)
3. Font must be Times New Roman
4. size 12
5. Title and author's full name at the center of the paper.
6. indent all paragraphs
